Nothing hates moisture more than paper and what has more paper than a library.  Marlon and the team from Lions Carpet & Restoration Services were called to this job after the water came through the ceiling.

The technicians firstly contained the area with plastic sheeting similar to the Curtainwall range we supply.  They then set up a Drymatic II with a couple of injection kits on both the inlet and outlet recirculation ports creating a “push pull system” to inject warm dry air and remove the colder wet air.

A low grain dehumidifier was added to the mix which collected the exhaust outlets wet air and returned dry air to the Drymatic II external inlet port.

Being a commercial property, the client needed the space back ASAP and the team were able to rectify the premises in a timely fashion with this setup directing the air into the ceiling and using the space underneath as a warm dry air supply chamber.

Thanks to Marlon for sharing the photo to the group.
