January 2024 Drymatic Winners of the Month

Paul Shepherd – Ciao Bella Cleaning & Restoration

Video of the month - January 2024

This job exemplifies the transformative power of Drymatic products in the restoration industry. Initially, Paul was tasked with restoring only a portion of the affected area and did so using the innovative approach which showcased the remarkable capabilities of Drymatic technology.

In a pivotal moment, the building assessor witnessed firsthand the exceptional results Paul had achieved in his restoration process and opted to get immediate approval for Paul to continue restoring the entire affected area. Through Paul’s methodical execution inspection found the placement of the floorboards on batons in very close proximity to the subfloor, which helped him plan his approach. This included precise control of airflow using Drymatic II. One notable feature utilised was the timer function, which enabled the heating of air for 2-hour intervals followed by exhaust for 2-hour rotations. This optimised the drying process and contributed significantly to the efficient restoration.

By harnessing the power of controlled heating and exhaust, coupled with strategic use of air movers and boost bars, remarkable results were achieved. Specifically, the air movers were strategically positioned to blow into the Drymatic Boost Bars, effectively inflating and heating the Drymatic mats. This innovative approach ensured consistent and uniform distribution of heat across the affected area, facilitating the efficient removal of moisture and restoration of the flooring.

Key tools such as the Hikmicro G40 thermal camera, Gann BLA plus, and Trotec T3000 were instrumental in identifying moisture-prone areas and ensuring thorough testing and validation.

Moreover, the meticulous containment strategy using a Curtain Wall exemplified the commitment to maintaining optimal conditions for restoration, ultimately delivering a flat floor and dry end result.

This job not only highlights the effectiveness of Drymatic technology but also underscores the unwavering dedication to excellence in every restoration project. It serves as a testament to the industry's relentless pursuit of innovation and superior outcomes.

Baylee Clements – Remeed Solutions

Photo Job of the month - January 2024

In this month photo job of the month, Baylee showcases a remarkable drying solution that not only delivers impressive results but also minimises disruption to the customer's space. By deploying a strategic combination of equipment and containment techniques, Baylee has effectively addressed the water damage and left the customer thoroughly impressed.

A key highlight of Baylee's approach is the use of a neat and tidy drying solution that maximises efficiency without compromising on effectiveness. Central to this setup is the deployment of an air mover into a Drymatic Boost bar, a technique that optimises airflow and facilitates efficient drying. By harnessing the heating and inflating capabilities of the dramatic mats, Baylee has created a dynamic drying environment that targets moisture affected areas with precision.

One particularly innovative aspect of Baylee's strategy is the use of containment poles to suspend the mats vertically along the affected area. This ingenious approach allows for optimal positioning of the mats, ensuring that the micro jets of energy on the bottom of the mats can effectively raise the surface temperature of the water-affected area. This targeted application of heat facilitates the efficient release of moisture from the wall, contributing to expedited drying and restoration.

Overall, Baylee's meticulous attention to detail and innovative approach to drying solutions have yielded exceptional results.
