The photo of the Month for November 2020 comes from Luke McArdle from McArdles Cleaning Services in Orange, New South Wales.

This water damage job combines the power and versatility of the Drymatic II, Boost bar, and the floor mats to optimise the drying conditions of the concrete slab.

To start off with the carpet was pulled up and removed to expose the wet concrete slab. An air mover fan is feeding air into the Drymatic Boost bar. The Boost will heat up the air and push it into the floor mats that will raise the energy of the concrete by 10 degrees, which doubles the rate of evaporation.

To create ideal conditions for the concrete to dry in shorter time we also use the Drymatic II heat drying machine. The Drymatic II will heat up the air in the room which allows the air mover to suck in pre-heated air and get the Boost pushing in even warmer air into the floor mats.

In recirculation mode the Drymatic II will suck in the wet air from the room, heat it up and then push out hot air into the room. When it goes into exhaust mode it will push out wet air out the window, suck in new air from outside, heat it up in the machine and push it out into the room.

This is a fantastic way to heat the environment and pull the moisture out of the air which allows the Boost and floor mats to dry the concrete much quicker. The Drymatic heat drying equipment is the fastest way to dry concrete by tackling both the drying of the surface and the air in the environment.

Another fantastic job by McArdles Cleaning Services.
