Video of the month - September 2022

The Video of the Month for September 2022 is a water damaged wall in a kitchen. There are a number of restoration equipment machines in this setup. There is a dehumidifier in the area to dry and heat the air that is used by the air mover. The air mover blows the warm air into the Drymatic Boost Bar, which in turn feeds heated area into wall mats to target dry the affected wall area.

On the other side of the wall, in the kitchen area, there is a Drymatic II machine running a Y-Piece off the heater pipe. Hot air is injected underneath the kitchen as well as splitting the heated air and putting extra heat into one of the mats.

All these wall mats and the injection drying under the kitchen aims to raise the temperature of the affected areas by at least 10 degrees which increases the evaporation rate. Using the Drymatic Heat Drying System in this setup we can save the underneath of the kitchen and all the surrounding walls without an intrusive setup.

Photo of the month - September 2022

For our September Photo of the Month we have a hot water system that failed. Both carpet and wall was affected by this failure. Normally in a room this size it would be necessary to remove all the furnishings to access the wet areas. Not so with the Drymatic Heat Drying System. From the photo we can see a radial flat fan with a Drymatic Boost Bar tucked neatly under a bed to dry the carpet, underlay, subfloor as well as the wall.

The slim height of the equipment means we can easily manoeuvre a radial flat fan underneath the bed, which is blowing into a Boost Bar, and then into a floor mat to raise the surface temperature of the area, carpet, underlay, subfloor and wall. Target drying the surface temperature by at least 10 degrees to double the evaporation rate of the wet materials. This is a very simple and tidy setup in a small area without the necessity of moving furniture.
