June 2023 Drymatic Winners of the Month

Brian Durrant – Fix It Industries

Video Job of the month - June 2023

We can see in this month’s video that flooring and wet materials have been removed and stripped to 1200mm high, all frames have been cleaned ad disinfectant has been carried out. At the time of starting the drying process limited power available, only 20 amps. Rather than waiting on the electrician Brian has started process until more power can be added. Using Drymatic II with the exhaust out window, slight negative pressure has been created by exhausting outside and using replenishment air from within chamber. The Y piece going up high to pick up wet air (as wet air lighter than dry) and the Drymatic 3 Port system blowing up skirting mats. This allows heating up affected base plates to release the moisture. At the time drying began temperature was at 17 degrees and heating up to 26 degrees, by raising temperature almost 10 degrees this is doubling rate of evaporation. By continued to energise materials to release wet air, the Drymatic II continues exhausting wet air and dropping relative humidity. Once another 20amps of power has been added this will allow the team to double the amount of equipment placed on the job to complete to dry standard.

Daniel Mair – Nightmare Restoration

Photo Job of the month - June 2023

This month’s photo job of the month has some great shots of how getting creative with Drymatic tools (remember they’re your best employee!) can achieve an awesome result. In this job, we can see that water entry point has come through the ceiling and so a Drymatic Boost with 4 Port is channelling heat into the ceiling cavity. The Drymatic II is at work exhausting the wet air from the room and exchanging with heated air. The laminate floor has been stripped from the affected area and a combination of fans into Drymatic Boosts into Drymatic mats are heating up the surface as the microjets create energy to breakdown the water barrier of the surface. Nightmare Restorations also have a Drymatic Boost and 12 port are being channelled beneath the kitchen cabinetry to dry the slab. Finally, some great infrared shots included in this job that create a great visual of where the moisture is within the room. Excellent work, Daniel & team!
