March 2023 Drymatic Winners of the Month

Brian Durrant – Fix It Industries, Newscastle

Video of the month - March 2023

One of the great parts of awarding job of the month in our Drymatic Facebook group is seeing the creative ways our customers put together a solution in the most awkward of spaces and this month’s video of the month winner is the perfect example. In this video we can see that Brian has engaged in drying the underside of a suspended concrete flood (with timber floorboards on top) in order to achieve the dry standard. Here they have used a Drymatic Air Mover which blows into the Drymatic Boost Bar with 4 port only to deliver the heat into a Drymatic Mat which has been suspended and secured with Hey Wall poles. The microjets of energy onto the concrete create higher vapour pressure and wanting to escape to lower vapour pressure of the air. A difficult job that has worked well for them to dry that area. Well done, Brian.

SHAUN Conman – Reassured restorations, Hervey Bay

Photo of the month - March 2023

This simple, yet affective job indicates that category 3 water of some description has entered the property. Strip out has been carried out and walls and frames sanitised to ensure everything is free from microbial activity. Shaun uses the Drymatic Air Mover blowing into Drymatic Boost which blows into the Drymatic 4 x 0.5 Wall Mat. The wall mat and boost bar work symbiotically to create very good target drying, especially on timber. The wall mat is drying 1 metre up the wall and 1 metre out from the wall. The drying effect occurs by pushing the energy into timber. The mat which sends out microjets of energy then break boundary layer and enable to create higher vapour pressure at the material and releasing lower vapour pressure into the air. Together this set up can heat the surface temperature by a further 10 degrees minimum, drying the wall twice as fast. Well done, Shaun!
